Even though I'm not interested in cosplay, the manga focuses a lot on the actual process of making cosplay and things around it. It's not just a backdrop for a romcom. You fall in love with the main characters. Right at the beginning we are introduced to a typical gyaru (Kitagawa) who uncharacteristically loves games/anime/manga and especially cosplay. The contrast between her childlike enthusiasm for each new cosplay and the selection of the cosplays themselves, which doesn't shy away from a lot of daring eroge stunts, is perfect. I say that because if you go into this manga expecting a good romcom, you'll be sorely mistaken. This is a COSPLAY manga, with romantic elements. While I do enjoy the novelty of a Cosplay manga, as it is very detailed and teaches you a lot about the world of Cosplay, if you are not interested in cosplay, this is not a manga for you.
